2011 Brickyard 400 Scheduled For Sunday, July 31
The 18th annual Brickyard 400 will take place Sunday, July 31, 2011, according to the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series schedule released Aug. 18. The annual NASCAR mid-summer classic at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway will be the 20th of 36 races on the 2011 Sprint Cup Series schedule.

Internationally acclaimed French artist Erwin Dazelle was named by the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as the 2010 Brickyard 400 Official Program Artist. Dazelle's program cover for the 2010 Brickyard 400, set for July 23-25, depicts Jimmie Johnson's No. 48 and Jeff Gordon's No. 24 Chevrolets, two of the most decorated Brickyard 400 drivers and two of the most recognized NASCAR Sprint Cup race cars of the decade, as well as an iconic image of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway featuring the Yard of Bricks and the Pagoda.

Brickyard 400 Fans: Avoid Construction, Arrive Early To IMS
NASCAR fans are encouraged to arrive early in the Indianapolis area during the Brickyard 400 on July 23-25 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway due to a major Interstate highway construction project west of the racetrack. The southbound Interstate 465 exit to Crawfordsville Road (southbound Exit 16A) is closed for the remainder of 2010 as part of a major reconstruction of I-465 on Indianapolis' west side. This traditionally has been a popular exit for fans heading to the Speedway from points north and northwest of IMS.

New Area Adds More Free Family Fun On Brickyard 400 Race Day
Families attending the Brickyard 400 Race Day on Sunday, July 25 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway can enjoy a special new area filled with attractions for children. The Family Fun Area, located near the Family Viewing Mounds adjacent to Turn 2 in the IMS infield, will feature inflatable bouncers, face painters, several interactive displays geared toward children and more. The area will be open from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and is free.

Roundtrip Race Day Shuttle Service To Be Offered For Brickyard 400 Fans
The Town of Speedway is facilitating roundtrip bus service for 2010 Brickyard 400 fans on Race Day, Sunday, July 25 at four convenient locations, including three in downtown Indianapolis and one at Indianapolis International Airport.
